A Los Angeles native and proud Trojan, Kourtney earned her Master of Studies in Law from the USC Gould School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Black Graduate Student Network and was selected as the 2023 Black Graduate Student Commencement Speaker. She remains deeply engaged in the Trojan community as a member of the USC Black Alumni Association Young Professionals Council.

Kourtney also holds a B.A. through her self-designed major in the Whittier Scholars Program at Whittier College, where she was the Class of 2017 Commencement Student Speaker, Female Student Athlete of the Year, and an Alumni of the Decade recipient. She is a founding member of the Whittier College Black Alumni Association, further reflecting her lifelong commitment to community building and representation.

In addition to her work in higher education, Kourtney is a licensed realtor with MJB Fine Homes & Realty, a Culver City-based firm owned by her mother, the company’s broker. She is passionate about educating her community on real estate, wealth-building, and homeownership as pathways to generational stability. She is also a NASM-certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.

Within The Collective Identity Mentorship Program, Kourtney serves as a mentor, Director of Social Media, and Advisory Board Member. In these roles, she is passionate about bridging gaps, shaping narratives, and telling impactful stories through digital platforms to create connection, visibility, and opportunity for emerging leaders.

In her free time, Kourtney enjoys teaching preschoolers about Jesus at church on Sundays, attending sporting events, exploring new natural hair products, and trying various matcha cafes throughout Los Angeles.
