Being a part of the collective identity is being a part of a movement that's helping women claim their identity and develop who they truly want to be. That's why I chose to be a part of this project is to do my part as an ally and support.

Get to know Brandon.

Brandon is the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health Executive Director. He has a consulting and therapy background in addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Historical and Intergenerational trauma, Social/Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Leadership, and Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). Brandon holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, a master's in Community Psychology from Metropolitan State University, and a master's in Psychotherapy (MFT) from Adler Graduate School. Brandon is also a 2013 Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow.

He lives by the motto of “Live life with Purpose on Purpose.

Q&A with Brandon.

Tell us about a time when you experienced "Imposter Syndrome" and how did you overcome it?

I don't run into impostor syndrome too often. But one area where I have impostor syndrome is being a parent. No book has ever been written to be the perfect parent. You must parent them differently if you have multiple children; therefore, I get imposter syndrome when engaging with my three beautiful daughters.

The book that I'm currently reading it's called agency by Ian Rowe. So far, its a pretty dope book that I highly recommended.
